Recruiting - Chief Executive OfficerJan 13: Closing date for applications: Sunday February 8th, 2026, midnight. This is an exciting opportunity to become Chief Executive Officer at The Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre, Perth & Kinross. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled CEO to lead RASAC P&K’s skilled and dynamic team and work collaboratively with our Board of Directors to deliver the organisation’s strategic plan and objectives.

We will be closed over the Winter Holidays:Dec 10: Our Services close on Friday 19th at 4:30pm December and will reopen Monday the 5th January at 9am 2026. But you will not be alone, even when RASAC P&K is closed. We know the holidays can be a hard time for some survivors, but you can still find support and a listening ear on the Rape Crisis Scotland Helpline every evening from 5pm to midnight other than Christmas Day and Hogmanay when it on 5pm - 11pm.

TOMORROW RASAC P&K Justice Advocacy Drop In⚖ Have you been affected by sexual abuse or violence at anytime in your life? You might want to come for a free, confidential chat: what is consent, what happens if/when you report to the police, what are your rights or you might want to meet our Advocacy Worker or make a referral into our Justice Advocacy Service? Your choice, no pressure and at your pace.💜 This is a Women only drop in ⭐When: Citizens Advice Perth Ground Floor 5 South St, Johns Place, Perth, PH1 5SU You don’t need to go to the Reception, press the buzzer and ask for the Drop in ⭐When: 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month between 1-3pm #listenbelievesupport #consent #IBelieveYou #rasacpkLast week our prevention team hosted a drop in at one of our schools in Perth and Kinross. We run School Drop Ins at many of the High Schools in Perth and Kinross. These Drop In are an opportunity for you to ask questions, find out about what we do and find information you might need. • Want to know more about consent? • Are you worried about yourself or someone you know? • Want to talk about what you learned in one of our sessions? • Want to know more about or join our Youth Ambassadors Programme? If your school is participating in the School Drop Ins we will speak about the Drop In session in our School Workshops and there will be posters on your School Information Boards. Drop ins are open to all young people 12-18 years. Look out for posters like the one shown, to find out when the next drop in at your school is and what room it will be in. There is no need to book any appointments with RASAC, your parents or teachers, just feel free to show up on the day. Our drop ins are confidential unless any concerns arise but we will make sure to speak to you about next steps, to keep you safe. Remeber there are lots of ways for you to chat to us, so even if we are not running the Drop Ins at your school you can still ask question or find out more information. Purple Friday is LGBT Youth Scotland annual fundraising day, where people across Scotland rally in purple to support LGBTQ+ young people. It takes place on the last Friday of February, during LGBT History Month.  LGBT Youth Scotland state that: “Purple Friday, we use it to say loudly and clearly that LGBTQ+ young people matter, that their creativity is powerful, and that they deserve a future filled with colour, possibility, and care. By painting it purple, you’re helping create a world where queer young people can be seen, celebrated, and supported, not just on Purple Friday, but every day.” RASAC is here to support all young people aged 12-18 who have been affected by sexual violence or want to know more about healthy relationships.
